Planning Brownfields Ideas for a joint project! to exchange different experiences in planning and using brownfields (good and bad practices) to collect the results of other current projects to create a database with the brownfields of the participating cities in cooperation with a research institute or university to organise a conference with experts from good examples (Ruhrgebiet, Dessau, Bln.-Lichtenberg) to develop perspectives and aims for brownfields (in general and for one brownfield in each city in particular) Questions: • How to get citizens involved? • How to arise public awareness? • How to build capacities and how to adopt the experiences to the regional situation Target groups: • Politics, • administration • planners • NGO • Citizens • Artists EU-programmes: • Grundtvig • Citizens programme • 7.
